Although Apex Legends: Defiance is currently in full swing, it's never too early to start thinking about what's coming next. Listed below is everything we know about when Defiance will come to an end and when Season 13 will launch.
When a season begins, it's time to start thinking about what will come next, and players are already speculating about what Respawn has in store for them in terms of new content.
Check out everything we know about Apex Legends Season 13 as well as when we can expect it to go live in the following sections.
Season 13 of Apex Legends is expected to begin on Tuesday, May 10 – three months after the release of Apex Legends: Defiance. This is true as long as Respawn maintains its regular release schedule. Some seasons, such as Season 3, have lasted significantly longer than others as a result of postponements.
NEW LEGEND
The identity of the new Legend for Season 13 is still up in the air, but recent leaks indicate that a character named Newcastle could make an appearance in the battle royale. Although we don't have many details about the new Legend, we do know that Newcastle was the runner-up to Forge in the competition to join the Apex Games back in Season 4.
A major leak was posted to the ApexUncovered subreddit, which purportedly showcased all of Newcastle's abilities and was subsequently removed. However, only time will tell whether or not he will be the next player to compete in the Apex Games, so take all of this information with a grain of salt for the time being.
Blisk, on the other hand, has been in charge of inviting other Legends to participate in the games and overseeing them, but Duardo Silva has taken over that responsibility. It's possible that Blisk will walk through the door on his own.
Another option is a Legend known as 'Hawk' that has been leaked. This character's identity was leaked shortly after the Season 12 update was released. According to the leak, this character's kit is geared toward snipers, with a sniper Ultimate and long-range perks for their passive abilities.
