The second demigod to vanquish on the path to becoming Elden Lord, Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon, would be the second demigod to defeat for many gamers. She may not have the physical might of Godrick the Grafted, but she does have a tiny trick up her sleeve that may surprise players who are accustomed to the more straightforward confrontations Elden Ring has provided up to this point. Here's how you can get the upper hand on her.
Rennala seemed to be hovering above the fray. FromSoftware/Bandai Namco provided the image, which was taken by Noam Radcliffe.
When confronting Rennala, the first thing you will notice is that she will not be harmed immediately - she hovers above the water's surface in a golden bubble that protects her from harm. It's possible that you'll have to bring her all the way down to earth to kill her.
In order to accomplish this, you will need to pay close attention to in-game clues. Investigate Rennala's crawling minions and look for one that is radiating the same golden color as her. It is possible for you to discover this minion by simply listening to the lullaby being sung, as it results in the discovery of the key minion.
The minion with the golden light is the one who needs to be killed in order to bring Rennala down from the heavens. FromSoftware/Bandai Namco provided the image, which was taken by Noam Radcliffe.
If you kill this glowing minion, a whole new one will appear and begin glowing and singing in its place. Repeat this twice more and Rennala will plummet from the sky, giving you the opportunity to scream at her before she returns to floating. Continue in this manner until she loses all of her health, at which point you will be able to proceed to the second stage of the battle.
Rennala becomes significantly more animated in the second segment. She'll cast spells at you and call spectral adversaries to fight and distract you while she's doing it. More often than not, you'll need to be able to dodge these ghosts while concentrating on defeating Rennala - the sooner you put an end to the battle, the less opportunity the summoned adversaries will have to strike you. Furthermore, the majority of them vanish rather quickly on their own.
It's also rather simple to stagger Rennala, so you shouldn't have too much difficulty chaining attacks against her as well.
If you can keep this up for a long enough period of time, you will eventually defeat the Queen of the Full Moon, bringing you one step closer to reforging the Elden Ring.
