Guide to Radahn Strategy

As a starting point, you should try to summon as many NPC allies as you possibly can. Create a summoning spell and make your way to every summoning sign you can find. The greater the number of NPCs on the field, the greater the amount of hostility that will be drawn away from you during the combat. The summon signals of these NPCs will resurface even if they are killed during the combat, allowing you to bring them back in as reinforcements for that particular battle. Make certain that your allied soldiers remain strong.

With all of this running around, you'll have to be careful not to get hit by some of Radahn's long-range weapons. Some are more difficult to avoid than others. The Gravity Arrows attack, in which Radahn charges a single shot and launches it at you at tremendous speed, is usually his go-to choice if you're far enough away from him to be effective. It has been my experience that the most effective approach to avoid this attack is to use Torrent's double jump and time it so that you are plummeting through the air when he fires the shot. As a result, the window of time during which you are protected from the shot is as generous as feasible.

Another option is to use the trash that has accumulated around the arena as cover. Before collapsing, each will deflect a single Gravity Arrow before exploding.

If Radahn launches a Rain Arrows assault against you, simply ride Torrent perpendicular to Radahn's path of attack. You should be able to outrun the arrows if you try hard enough.

Riding around the arena dodging bullets and summoning NPCs should be the main focus of your looping strategy for the game. This is the safest and most straightforward method of killing Radahn, and it can be expedited by using arrows or spells.

When Radahn's health hits about half of its maximum, he will disappear into the sky. This is a nice time to rest and recover, but keep an eye on the sky because he'll come crashing down as a massive fireball in a matter of seconds. In the event that you're riding Torrent, you should be able to escape away from the region of his hit very quickly. This is also an excellent opportunity to summon as many NPCs as you can.
