The Mighty Quest For Epic Loot
About the Game
A genius Castle Lootin' , Arrow Shootin; Sword swinging medevel romp (and i have NEVER used the word "romp " in a description before!
Raid other player castles, grab their loot and take it home. Use your plunder to upgrade your own castle and its defenses. Summon more and more powerful minions and research them to make them stronger. Set cunning traps and room layouts to harm and confuse them pesky attackers.
The graphics are a bit tame BUT that doesn't make it a bad game (in fact A* to the developers for concentrating on the fun gameplay instead of making it all shiny) The controls are simple point, click, pew pew but again does not remove anything from the fun of the game.
Yes its in development, yes it will be free to play; but well worth paying the £15 to get into the beta. (you get more than £15 worth of stuff and in game currency)
Will it be pay to win....well i don't think so if developers keep the balance as it is. Yes, you can pay to finish buildings quicker but with a bit of planning and time management would make little difference. The only thing you really need to spend in game currency on is upgrading your "workers shack" so you can build/upgrade more than one building at a time (and i recommend if you do buy into the beta that's the only thing you spend your "Bling" on). Yet ,don't worry, you can buy rooms, traps and minions with your resources you collect/steal.
All in all if you want a game you can pop on to for 20 mins or so Or if you really want to get your teeth into creating the most cunning, devious, deadly dungeon ever conceived this is the game for you!
